Michelle Stack M.S.
Ms. Stack's experience and training have involved the assessment of a wide variety of neuropsychological conditions to include memory disorders, developmental disorders, learning disorders, traumatic brain injury, and cognitive rehabilitation. Ms. Stack is of Cuban decent and grew up in Miami, Florida. She is particularly interested in working with Spanish speaking populations, particularly those with brain trauma, cognitive difficulties, chronic medical conditions, and developmental disorders.
Ms. Stack's training and experiences include exposure to a wide range of services. She has conducted psychoeducational groups for movement disorders patients; conducted neuropsychological and psychological assessment of adults and children; performed psychotherapy with clients with chronic health concerns, depression, and anxiety.
Ms. Stack completed an internship at Eastern Virginia Medical School where she completed several rotations at Eastern State Hospital in Williamsburg, an inpatient psychological hospital. She was involved in individual and group therapies; conducted annual assessments and neuropsychological assessments on Geriatric patients; she completed a rotation at physical rehabilitation department of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital..
Ms. Stack is currently completing the final stages of her doctoral dissertation at Nova Southeastern University and anticipates completing the requirements for her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology later this year. She is contracted as a psychological Assistant at Suncoast Pediatric Neuropsychology where she administers neuropsychological and psychological testing.
